Add Lintel

When the Add Lintel command is selected in the Parametric Frame Builder Action list box, the settings group for that command displays directly to the right of the Action list box.

The Add Lintel command manages settings to add a lintel to one of the sub-frames; and specifies a bearing that also spans the other sub-frames.

Add Lintel command settings group	The following settings are available when the Add Lintel command is selected. Wall: — Place a lintel on the exterior or interior wall. Type: — Select the type of lintel. I-Beam – Invokes the settings for an I profile. L-Beam – Invokes the settings for an L profile. Soldier Course – Invokes the settings for a brick lintel. A soldier course can only be constructed around rectangular frames. L + Soldier Course – Invokes the settings for an L profile, brick lintel. Wood – Invokes the settings for a timber lintel. Concrete – Invokes the settings for a concrete lintel. Prefab – Invokes the settings for a prefabricated lintel. Roller Blind: — Available when Wall is set to Interior. Select the location for the horizontal recess. Height — Sets the height of the lintel. Bearing Left; Bearing Right — Enter the value for the overhang on the left and right. Bearing is 1/10 the width of the opening. Top, Left, Right, Bottom — Available when Wall is set to Exterior, and Type is set to Soldier Course and L + Soldier Course only. Choose the location of the soldier course.
